Stuart joined the Club as a junior player in 1989/90 going on to play 28 seasons (1989/90 to 2010/11) & (2013/14 to 2017/18). The 2015/16 season marked Stuart’s 25th for the Club and was accordingly awarded Life Membership of the Club in 2016 for his playing service.

Stuart has also served the Club as coach for 9 seasons from 1995/96 to 2003/04. Stuart was barely out of juniors when he took on this role and went on to be one of the Club’s most successful coaches winning 3 consecutive 16A Premiers in 2000/01, 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons. Stuart has also inspired a number of boys he has coached to follow in his footsteps and coach junior teams for the Club.

Stuart took on the role of Senior Secretary for 2 seasons from 2015/16 to 2016/17 introducing the “Senior Season Launch” and re-introducing the “Senior Presentation and Club Night”.
