Peter Ward is awarded a life membership to the Engadine Dragons Cricket Club for the effort he put into the club over 12 years. He managed the 10A team in 1996-97, coached the 10B team in 1997-98, managed the 10C team in 1998-1999 and managed the 10A team in 1999-2000.

Peter was the junior registrar for 8 seasons from 1997/98 to 2004/05 as well as Assistant Junior Secretary for 7 seasons from 2000/01 to 2006/07 as well as being the Club Delegate in this period. Peter has always been an active parent involved in his sons’ teams, helping out with scoring whenever needed.

Peter’s sons both played for our Club with Jonathan playing for 18 seasons (1995/96 to 2002/03) & (2008/08 to 2017/18) and Daniel for 10 seasons (1997/98 to 2006/07). Both boys won a numerous Premierships with the Club as well as representing the SSJCA.

On a personal note, he has always been a bloke to pitch in and help with various club duties such as packing kits, grading, helping with jacket fittings, booking accommodation and organising catering for the Annual Bradman Match.
