The 2020/2021 season saw Matthew Russell complete 25 years of playing seasons for our Club and was awarded Life Membership of the Club.

Commencing in the 1994/95 season Matthew was recipient of his 10C team’s Fielding Award. Matthew played 21 consecutive seasons up until 2014/15, before returning in 2017/18 to reach 25 years of playing service in 2020/21. Matthew is currently in his 29th season for the Club.

Matthew joins brother Tim as a Life Member of the Club. Tim played 27 seasons for the club – (1994/95 to 2019/20) & (2021/22) while brother Sam played 10 seasons – (1995/96 to 2000/01 & 2004/05 to 2007/08). Father Alan also coached and managed teams.
