Mark Mitchell was awarded a Life Membership in 2021 after completing 25 years of consecutive playing season for our Club.

Commencing in the 1996/97 season Mark was recipient of his 14E team’s Coaches Award.

Mark has captained numerous senior teams and coached for 3 seasons of U16’s from 2000/01 to 2002/03, which he encouraged the players to go on and play senior cricket for our club.

The 2022/23 season saw Mark joined by his brother Ian as a Life Member of our Club. Along with his younger brother Kurt the three Mitchell boys have contributed a combined total of 76 seasons for the Dragons at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season. In 2023/24 Mark’s nephew Henry became the fourth of the Mitchell clan to play cricket for the Club bringing their combined total to 78 seasons. What an outstanding show of loyalty from one family.
