Bob Vannan (1994)

Bob was Club Treasurer for 4 seasons (1988/89 to 1991/92), and a long-time delegate to the Senior Association along with Alf Lemmon. He was one of the clubs most efficient scorers in both junior and senior cricket, winning the Sutherland Shire Cricket Association’s award for best scorer on numerous occasions.

In 1994 Bob was made a Life Member and the Most Improved Team “The Bob Vannan Trophy” was named in his honour. His sons Mark, Phil and Adrian all played junior and senior cricket. Adrian played 15 seasons for the club from 1978/79 to 1992/93 and was Senior Secretary for 4 seasons from 1989/90 to 1992/93. He also captained senior teams and was our SSCA delegate and was involved with the club for 15 years.
