Adam’s association with the Club spans across 32 seasons from registering as a junior player in the 1982/83 as a member of our 10C team coached by Jeff Goodman. The coaches report read “Adam had a very successful season with the ball but was dogged by bad luck when batting. Adam was the best fieldsman in the team.” Adam played 21 seasons for the Club – (1982/83 to 1988/89 & 2010/11 to 2023/24) with his final season as a member of our A1 team. Adam was awarded “Senior Club Champion” in 2012/13 and 2013/14, and Club Person of the Year in 2014/15.

Adam’s son Daniel also played 6 seasons for the Club from – 2009/10 to 2014/15.

Commencing in 2012/13 on General Committee Adam went on to serve as Senior Registrar for 8 seasons from 2013/14 to 2020/21, Senior Secretary for 7 seasons from 2017/18 to 2023/24, SSCA delegate for 7 seasons from 2017/18 to 2023/24 and MC of our Senior Presentation Night for 5 seasons from 2018/19 to 2022/23. He also coached junior teams for 5 seasons – (2013/14 to 2016/17 & 2018/19).

Adam made himself available when electrical work or general maintenance was required in our club rooms and was always on hand for junior gradings or junior presentation setup. He sponsored the club for 5 seasons through his business.

Adam was awarded Life Membership of the Club in 2023.
