Welcome to another year of cricket with the Dragons. We hope everyone is keeping safe during the current COVID lockdown.

Registrations are now open online for the 2020/21 cricket season.

The season commences on Saturday 11th September 2021.

This season the club will be providing ALL players with a new coloured playing shirt (see attached photo). You will be required to select your size when completing the online registration.

JUNIOR PLAYERS

All Engadine Dragons registrations can be made via the PLAYCRICKET, which can be accessed on our website via the RED REGISTRATION BUTTON on the menu bar – www.engadinedragonscc.org.au

For returning players please select your correct ID number once prompted and for new players an ID number will be generated once registered. Junior players may use their $100 “Active Kids Voucher”.

2021/22 REGISTRATION FEES –

Master Blasters – $100
Master Blasters is a super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls aged under 8. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at Kareela Oval Synthetic Fields each week 8:00am to 9:30am beginning October 9, 2021 and ending March 12, 2021.

U10 Junior Competition Cricket – $125
Stage 1 Format – 20 overs per team one day games
Must be under 10 years of age as of August 31, 2021

U12 Junior Competition Cricket – $160
Stage 2 Format – 12A & 12B – 30 overs per team one day games
Stage 2 Format – 12C & 12D – 20 overs per team one day games
Must be under 12 years of age as of August 31, 2021

U14 Junior Competition Cricket – $170
Stage 3 Format – All grades, Mixture of 2 Day and 1 Day Games
Must be under 14 years of age as of August 31, 2021

U16 Junior Competition Cricket – $170
Stage 3 Format – All grades, Mixture of 2 Day and 1 Day Games
Must be under 16 years of age as of August 31, 2021

U11 Junior Girls Competition Cricket – $100
Stage 1 Format – 20 overs per team one day games

U13 Junior Girls Competition Cricket – $125
Stage 1 Format – 30 overs per team one day games

Both these competitions are for girls only, whereas the above U10 to U16 Junior Competitions are open to both boys and girls to compete

Registrations will close Sunday 8th August 2021 or earlier depending on numbers in each age group.

With the current COVID lockdown in place, the Club may not be in a position to hold grading days this season. We will continue to monitor this situation however grading may be based on last season’s stats, player requests and Coaches input. I’m sure everyone will understand the exceptional circumstances that we are currently experiencing.

Student – School, TAFE & University students

The season starts on Saturday 11th September with Team Nominations due to the SSCA on Monday 2nd August.
This season it will be compulsory for ALL players to wear an approved helmet when batting, fielding in close and wicket keeping up to the stumps.
